Comments On These Lists

The above movies represent films that I could happily re-watch. The ones in my collection are some of my personal favorites among the many movies I have bought. The listings in the Rentals column are films I rated highly on Netflix, but didn't review. A pity, because there are some real gems in there.

Some of these films are outright classics. Some are silly things that keep me amused and entertained, but have no great historical value. The only common factor is that I enjoyed watching them and think you might as well.

If you are looking for lists of "all time greatest movies" your best bet is www.filmsite.org. It has the best collection of "Greatest" titles I have found. Many of them are reviewed in great detail with scholarly descriptions of why they are important in film history. A highly recommended site.
